This course will teach 3 lesson plans per week. 2 Lessons will be taught on every other Saturday in-person from 9-5 and 1 lesson each Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9 (virtually/online). There are 17 weeks of actual course content, but with some weeks off due to school breaks, it will take 18-20 weeks to complete.
Archetype Software Coding Bootcamp is tailored for ages 16 and up. Ideal for those Junior and Seniors in high school looking to pursue a Career in Tech. But is not Limited to them. Anyone who is trying to make a leap into the tech world is a great candidate for this course.
No. This Software Bootcamp does not requiere students to have previous coding experience. We will cover all the basics before we dive into deep code!
You will have access to our Professors in scheduled office hours where you can ask any questions and clear up any misunderstandings you may have. Teacher office hours for the class are around 3 hours per week depending on the class demand.
You will be learning all of the essential skills to become a Full Stack Software Engineer, meaning that you will be able to build complete Web Applications from scratch. The languages are HTML, CSS, JS, Node.js, MYSQL, MongoDB and React
The short answer is “yes” absolutely! Some students will have the necessary skills to get a job shortly after graduation. For others, it will take longer as more practice might be required to enhance their skills.
This course is a hybrid model. Students will be required to physically come to in-person class on Saturdays from 9-5. Tuesdays and Thursdays classes will be online from 6-9PM.
